This policy applies to D2LFG.com, D2LFG authentication and registration workflows, and D2LFG-operated Discord bots, including RankBot.
D2LFG may process limited data needed to operate the website, Discord community, registration systems, moderation tools, and related server-management features.
- Discord Account Data: Discord user IDs, usernames, display names, avatars, server identifiers, channel identifiers, role identifiers, and message identifiers.
- Discord OAuth Data: Discord account information provided during login or authentication, such as Discord ID, username, and avatar.
- Bungie Account Data: Bungie account identifiers, membership IDs, linked platform information, Guardian or game-related details, and registration or verification data.
- Message Content: Discord message content when needed for moderation, safety checks, audit logging, or command handling.
- Member and Role Data: Discord member join, leave, update, nickname, display name, and role information when needed for registration, moderation, or role maintenance.
- Presence or Activity Data: Discord presence, activity, or custom status information when needed to moderate rule-violating status or activity content.
- Cookies and Analytics: Cookies or analytics tools may be used to understand site usage, improve performance, and protect the service from abuse.
- Moderation and Audit Records: Registration records, role-maintenance records, moderation actions, audit-log entries, and administrative workflow records.
RankBot does not process IP addresses. D2LFG does not intentionally collect physical addresses, payment card information, government identification, or sensitive personal documents through RankBot.
D2LFG uses data only for community operation, authentication, registration, moderation, safety, abuse prevention, service reliability, and server administration.
- To authenticate users through Discord and Bungie workflows.
- To link Discord accounts with Bungie accounts for registration or verification.
- To provide Destiny 2 LFG-related website and Discord functionality.
- To enforce server rules and protect the community from spam, scams, phishing, prohibited invites, and other abuse.
- To detect suspicious links, scam patterns, channel-rule violations, or prohibited custom status/activity text.
- To maintain roles, registration status, and server access controls.
- To support staff moderation review, audit logging, and server-management tools.
- To improve website performance, reliability, and abuse prevention.
D2LFG does not sell Discord data, Bungie account-linking data, message content, member data, presence/activity data, or RankBot moderation data. D2LFG does not share this data with advertisers, ad networks, data brokers, or unrelated monetization services.
D2LFG does not use message content, Discord data, Bungie account-linking data, or RankBot data for advertising, user profiling, or training machine learning or AI models.
RankBot is a D2LFG-operated Discord moderation, registration, and server-management bot. RankBot may process Discord message content, member data, role data, and presence/activity/custom status data when needed for moderation, safety, registration, audit logging, role maintenance, or authorized staff commands.
RankBot may process ordinary Discord messages to detect prohibited links, scam patterns, Discord invite links, channel-rule violations, or other configured moderation rules. RankBot may also process member join, leave, and update events for registration, welcome, role, and moderation workflows.
RankBot may process presence, activity, or custom status information only for moderation of rule-violating status or activity content. RankBot does not use presence data for advertising, profiling, unrelated analytics, or broad online/offline tracking.
D2LFG stores limited operational data in access-controlled server-side systems operated by authorized D2LFG bot/server operators. Stored data may include Discord identifiers, Bungie account identifiers, registration records, role records, moderation records, and audit records.
Stored data is protected using administrative access controls, restricted operator access, credential-based service access, and encryption at rest where applicable. Access to stored data is limited to authorized operators who need it for moderation, safety, registration, abuse prevention, or server administration.
For security reasons, this policy does not disclose internal infrastructure details, database software, file paths, server locations, or implementation-specific storage information.
D2LFG keeps account-linking, registration, role, moderation, and audit records for as long as needed to operate the community, maintain registration status, enforce server rules, prevent abuse, and support moderation review.
Data may be deleted when it is no longer needed, when a verified deletion request is approved, or when D2LFG operators determine the data is no longer necessary for moderation, security, abuse prevention, or operational purposes.
Some moderation, abuse-prevention, or security records may be retained when necessary to protect the community, enforce server rules, or prevent repeated abuse.
D2LFG does not sell user data.
D2LFG data is accessible only to authorized D2LFG operators and staff where needed for moderation, safety, registration, or server administration. RankBot may post moderation alerts, audit logs, or administrative reports in restricted Discord staff channels.
D2LFG does not sell Discord data, Bungie account-linking data, message content, member data, presence/activity data, or RankBot moderation data. D2LFG does not share this data with advertisers, ad networks, data brokers, or unrelated monetization services.
D2LFG may share data only when necessary to operate the service, comply with legal obligations, respond to abuse/security issues, or enforce server rules.
Users may request deletion of eligible stored D2LFG or RankBot account-linking data by contacting D2LFG staff through the D2LFG Discord support process.
Deletion requests are handled manually by authorized operators. When a deletion request is verified, D2LFG removes eligible stored Discord/Bungie account-linking records and related registration data that is no longer required for moderation, security, abuse prevention, or server administration.
Some moderation, abuse-prevention, or security records may be retained when necessary to protect the community, enforce server rules, or prevent repeated abuse.
